We woke up to the sound of his alarm. I hated alarms. They could be so jarring. We got up and started getting ready. I slid into my dress. It was my LBD—little black dress. It was a sleeveless V-neck that had a pencil-style skirt and came to my knees. I put on some eyeliner and lipstick. No point in wearing anything else since I would cry it off. I put my sweater on and started looking for my black patent Mary Jane heels. Dean put on his dress blues. I wanted to melt. He was so handsome in it. His muscles filled it out so nicely. I could smell his cologne that had the forest scent. Oh, I loved that smell on him.
